Colonel Shamim with a few dedicated friends started PKPA in 1997. He was himself a kidney transplant patient. A devoted and tireless social worker and humane of heart and mind, worked till the last day of his life to see PKPA progress and prosper. Passed away on 03 November 2005--- May ALLAH (SWT) rest his soul in Eternal Peace. Ameen!
